Gründerwerkstatt by the Frankfurt Labour Market Programme (FRAP)

The programme activates entrepreneurial or labour-market-relevant potential among refugees and provides support on all topics related to starting a business.

Support for start-up projects by refugees

The programme “Gründerwerkstatt – Refugees take action” supports refugees in turning business ideas into reality and activating entrepreneurial or labour-market-relevant potential. Consultations and seminars support idea-generation processes, analyse trends and opportunities, address the option of starting a business as a side venture, develop skills and obtain qualifications. The programme also includes imparting knowledge about German business culture and mindset, as well as legal requirements.

If investment and start-up capital are lacking, the programme refers participants to partners such as the Frankfurt Founder Fund and Wirtschaftsbank Hessen for loan applications. The consultants support founders with all financing formalities and can also act as an expert office for public loans.

In addition, to test the market and prepare optimally for market launch, founders are provided with office space by the Frankfurt Start-up Centre.

All events and consultations are also held in English, Arabic, Dari, Farsi and Ukrainian as needed.
